The NOK Shareholder Permanent Fund Trust ( a Separate Legal Entity)

In September of 2002, NOK shareholders overwhelmingly approved the creation of the NOK Shareholder Permanent Fund Trust, which was subsequently funded with assets from the NOK Shareholders Fund.

The NOK Shareholder Permanent Fund Trust currently pays quarterly distributions to Trust beneficiaries in March, June, September, and November of each year.

All NOK shareholders at the time of Trust inception automatically became beneficiaries of the NOK Shareholder Permanent Fund Trust.

 

Shareholder Employment Opportunities

NOK is committed to employment opportunities for its shareholders.  Employment opportunities under NOK subsidiary company contracts are available to NOK shareholders, descendants or dependents.
NOK shareholders, descendants and dependents are encouraged to submit a resume or letter of interest to the NOK office with their skills and qualifications to be considered for employment by NOK subsidiaries and/or contractors. Please contact the NOK office for a list of potential positions with job descriptions.

Free Admission to Kodiak's Alutiiq Museum

Alutiiq MuseumNOK shareholders and their accompanying family members receive free admission to Kodiak's Alutiiq Museum upon presentation of their NOK Shareholder I.D. Card.

Free Land-Use Permits

As part of NOK’s consolidated land-use permit system, created in 2004 in partnership with Afognak Native Corporation (ANC) and Ouzinkie Native Corporation (ONC) to simplify permitting and land-use rules on NOK, ANC and ONC Afognak Island, Raspberry Island, Spruce Island and Whale Island lands, NOK shareholders, spouses and descendants may obtain land-use permits free of charge.  Please contact the NOK office for more information.
