Located in the Mt. Hood National Forest, the Mirror Lake Trailhead Relocation project included widening Oregon DOT 26 and relocation of the popular trailhead, trail modifications (removal and replacement of 9 pedestrian bridges) and a parking lot expansion. Oregon DOT 26 improvements included a mill and fill for 3,390 Ton of an ODOT Type 1, Asphalt Concrete Pavement, guardrail placement, sign systems, delineators, rumble strip, pavement markings, and an ITS sign system.  New trailhead accommodations included trash receptacles, bicycle storage racks, picnic table, restroom facility, stairways, handrail, pedestrian rail, and a trail kiosk.
