Distributions are payments made to Shareholders from the NOK Trusts. They are one of the primary benefits of being a Shareholder and are typically paid on a schedule determined by the Board of Directors.
Distributions can be sent by paper check or deposited directly into your bank account through direct deposit.
To enroll, complete a Direct Deposit Authorization Form in the myNOKilat.com Shareholder Portal or return it to Shareholder Services with your banking information.
Yes, you can update
your banking information by submitting a new Direct Deposit
Authorization Form. Changes must be received 10 days before
distribution processing deadlines to take effect for the current payment.
Your distribution will be mailed as a paper check to the address we have on file.
If you have not received your distribution after the announced payment date, please contact Shareholder Services at (907) 486-3606 so we can confirm your address or bank information and resolve the issue.
Distributions from both the Natives of Kodiak Shareholder Permanent Fund Trust and Natives of Kodiak Benefits Trust were nontaxable in 2024, and 1099s were not sent out for these distributions.
Shareholders who received prizes at events or from our quarterly distributions that amount to over $600 in a calendar year will receive a 1099 tax form from Natives of Kodiak.
